On July 8, 2019, Kyushu University’s Faculty of Engineering and Graduate School of Systems Life Sciences signed an agreement with National Chung Hsing University’s College of Science to promote their academic and student exchange and strengthen further cooperation in the fields of science and engineering.
Kyushu University and National Chung Hsing University have been conducting research exchange in the field of chemistry, especially in the areas of applied chemistry and biomaterials, making the conclusion of the Agreement of Academic Cooperation and the Agreement of Student Exchange a natural next step.
Yoshio Hisaeda, dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Yoshiki Katayama, dean of the Graduate School of Systems Life Sciences, and Akihiro Kishimura, associate professor of the Graduate School of Systems Life Sciences, represented Kyushu University at the signing ceremony, which took place at Ito Campus. In attendance from National Chung Hsing University were the president, Fuh-Sheng Shieu, along with three other representatives.
